Hello! I’ve created a tool that shows the movements of Earth’s continents throughout time on an interactive globe. It also includes a brief history of the evolution of life, highlighting the impact plate tectonics may have had on life.
This was a personal project that was inspired by the question, did grasses exist during the time of dinosaurs? The evolution of grass didn’t end up seeming significant enough to include in this (admittedly anthropocentric) list of major events, but the writeup does provide a nice summary of the emergence of the different forms of life on Earth today.
Would love to know what you think about it! Is anything confusing? For the paleontology and paleogeology experts, is any of the information wrong?
