'Don't bring that up again': Reporter's question gets under Trump's skin

President Donald Trump was not a fan of a reporter's question aboard Air Force One on Thursday.

The Pentagon's Inspector General announced earlier in the day that it launched an investigation into Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's use of a Signal group chat to discuss an imminent attack. In the chat, Hegseth shared operational details about March 15 airstrikes against Houthi militants in Yemen.

Signal is not authorized for handling classified government communications.

A reporter pressed Trump about the probe aboard Air Force One Thursday afternoon.

"On Pete Hegseth and this IG investigation, do you want to weigh in on that?" the reporter asked in a clip shared on X.

"What — what is it?" asked Trump.

"There's an IG investigation into the secretary of Defense's use of the Signal app," the reporter replied.

"Oh, I don't — you're bringing that up again? Don't bring that up again. Your editors probably — that's such a wasted story. So what else?"
