Fox labels Ukraine's Kyiv as Russian city during Easter broadcast

Fox's online news channel labeled Kyiv as a Russian city during an Easter service broadcast.

While airing Easter services from Moscow on Saturday, LiveNOW from Fox simultaneously broadcast a church in Kyiv, Ukraine — but labeled it "Kyiv, Russia." The broadcast also included footage from Vatican City.

According to The Kyiv Independent, the erroneous label was broadcast uncorrected for 20 minutes.

"If this was a mistake rather than a deliberate political statement, there should be an apology and an investigation into who made the mistake," Heorhii Tykhyi, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, wrote on X.
