'Stay tuned!' Trump teases 'big news' in settling 'violent wars' — but not in Ukraine

President Donald Trump on Friday said major news related to conflicts in Africa would soon be on its way, which he griped had “fallen” on his administration to handle.

Trump took to his Truth Social platform to issue the vague presidential message, though he offered no specifics or timeline for the promised upcoming announcement.

“Big news coming out of Africa, where I am also involved in settling violent wars and conflicts,” Trump wrote Friday. “I don’t know why so many of these events have fallen to me and my Administration, but they have, and we have done an unprecedented job in getting them SETTLED or, putting them in position for PEACE. STAY TUNED!!!

The social media post came Friday as Trump traveled aboard Air Force One to join other world leaders in Rome for the funeral of Pope Francis.
