Trump suggests AT&T botched his faith call because 'a lot of Christians' were on

President Donald Trump said it was "possible" that AT&T deliberately botched a conference call with faith leaders because "a lot of Christians" were on the line.

Before his Monday call with Intercessors for America, Trump blasted AT&T on Truth Social, saying the company was "totally unable to make their equipment work properly."

He later theorized that the call had been sabotaged for religious reasons.

"I'm sorry that their equipment wasn't working so well," he told those listening on the call. "Somebody said, because it's faith leaders, including a lot of Christians, maybe they did it on purpose."

"I said, well, I'm not that evil to think that way," the president continued. "I don't want to think that way. So I assume that didn't happen."

"But it is possible. Anything's possible these days. It's crazy."

Trump vowed to use a different carrier for the next call.

"AT&T obviously doesn’t know what they’re doing!" he exclaimed on Truth Social.
