Cybertruck recall reveals embarrassingly low sales numbers
Tesla's latest Cybertruck recall comes with an awkward side effect: it appears to confirm that the company sold only 173 examples of its supposedly more affordable rear-wheel-drive-only model before quietly discontinuing it.
The recall affects all 173 of the $70,000 Cybertrucks sold by Tesla, which come with 18-inch steel wheels.
