Lyft driver waits for me to walk into street, then takes off.

I’m 10 minutes from my airport, easy fare for drivers. You don’t want it, don’t accept. Also rated as a good tipper. Driver accepted the fare while he was still at the airport in traffic. There were plenty of cars within 5 minutes of me, took almost 15 for him to get to me. Fine, I prep early & am outside waiting. He does a clunky U turn, I’m expecting him to either park on the open curb or back into the drive way. Rolls window down, I say ‘Good Morning’ he’s says ‘’morning” I grab my carryon. Window goes up, I walk behind the vehicle to load & he drives off. Better fare? Mildly infuriating? Reaction to pride flag?
