Don Jr. scrambles to calm furious MAGA voters: 'I've said it three times'

Donald Trump Jr. tried to calm frustrated MAGA voters angry over gas prices as Republicans brace for a potentially brutal midterm election.

Speaking on his “Triggered with Donald Trump Jr.” podcast, the president’s son acknowledged that voters have reason to be unhappy — but urged them not to take their frustrations out on Republicans when they head to the polls.

“Look, I’m not telling you to not be frustrated, again, about the gas prices,” Trump Jr. said. “I’ve said it three times today. Okay?"

Trump Jr. then warned voters that handing power back to Democrats would leave them worse off.

“I get it,” he said Tuesday. “Trust me. I get it. You’re not happy about gas prices right now, but all those things disappear? It does not balance out. It ends up being much, much worse.”

Trump Jr. rattled off a list of what he portrayed as Republican accomplishments before turning to grievances from the Biden years.

“Remember what we were dealing with under Biden,” he continued. “Remember the open border. Remember the BLM insanity, the tearing down statues, the canceling of anyone who wanted to celebrate Columbus Day, DEI madness, quite literally everywhere you looked.”

He also accused Democrats of wanting to “bring back DEI” and claimed they wanted to “abolish prisons.”

Trump Jr. ended with a stark warning about what’s at stake in the upcoming midterms.

“You all actually get the final say 28 days from now, which direction you want for this country,” he said. “Because I promise you, putting and giving these left-wing lunatics even an ounce more power will make it that much harder to build on all of these wins and actually make sure that it lasts into the future.”
