'I thought more of you': Snoop Dogg's fans outraged as rapper caught 'simping for a felon'

Snoop Dogg reportedly performed at a Donald Trump inauguration event, resulting in outrage from onlookers.

The California rapper, known for his association with Dr. Dre, played the Crypto Ball in Washington, D.C., hosted by David Sacks, Trump's crypto czar appointee, Yahoo reports. Snoop Dogg's appearance came after it was announced that country music star Carrie Underwood will sing "America the Beautiful" during the swearing-in ceremony.

Snoop Dogg was even seen in a photo with young MAGA activist Bo Loudon, who said, "Hanging with the legendary Snoop Dogg, who is set to perform at President Trump's inauguration. President Trump is unifying the country and will bring us into the GOLDEN AGE! Welcome to MAGA, Snoop!"

The news of Snoop Dogg's performance hit hard for some who remember reporting that Trump's final hours in office during his first administration were spent raging at the musician.

Host of Hold the Mic, Ryan Shead, asked, "What made you go from this to simping for a felon, business fraud, rapist, and accused pedophile who failed to deliver the first time around?"

"Snoop’s next single will be 'Rape was the case they gave him' due out this summer. I thought more of you," the host wrote. "I guess you’re all piece of s--- sellouts at the end of the day focused on money over morals."

Other users simply reminded Snoop Dogg of past insults he hurled at the now-incoming President.

Republicans against Trump said, "Since Snoop Dogg performed at the Inaugural Crypto Ball last night, hosted by Trump’s 'Crypto and AI Czar' David Sacks, I thought it would be a good time to post what he said about Trump and his supporters a few years ago."

In the unearthed video, Snoop Dogg says that those who support Trump are actually racists.

"A lot of your fans are racist," Snoop Dogg tells the host.

Combat vet Travis Matthew said, "I never thought I’d have Snoop Dogg being a Trump supporter on my bingo card…. But here we are. What a f------ disappointment."
